A boutonniere is a sophisticated way of tying in the colors of your wedding back to the attire of the men in your bridal party. While boutonnieres are most commonly worn with jackets, you can absolutely hold on to this traditional wedding accessory when wearing a guayabera wedding shirt.
A boutonniere should be fastened on the guayabera above the heart. Just be gentle when pinning and make sure you don’t create a tear in the fabric of your shirt.
Father of the Bride Doug Hunt shows us how it’s done by matching his boutonierre back to his daughter’s bridal bouquet.
